Stop Arbitrary Arrests

“Sindea” is the app that allows its users to report an arbitrary or illegal detention in real time, to later, and with the support of EDUCIAC, file a complaint with the State Commission for Human Rights.

Non-profit civil organization that promotes, from a human rights and gender perspective, the exercise of active citizenship through the formation of citizen capacities, advocacy on public policies, social comptrollership and research; with youth and civil society its priority populations.

Arrests are arbitrary or illegal when an authority detains you without grounds in the law, under irregularities in their actions and / or hindering the exercise of your human rights. They are the prelude to more serious violations such as enforced disappearances.

When reporting in SINDEA an alert is issued that notifies your emergency contacts and EDUCIAC, thus reducing the level of risk in which you find yourself. In addition, you help to make the problem visible.

You can also report arbitrary detentions that you have suffered in the past and of which you would like to record on the website.
