Migration Policy Working Group
GTPM
Civil society network made up of organizations and individuals who work in favor of the rights of migrants. Since 2010 it articulates its work to provide technical support in decision-making spaces, with the aim of influencing the regulatory frameworks and Mexican migration public policies from a perspective of human rights, childhood, gender and interculturality.
The Working Group on Migration Policy is a civil society network made up of organizations, networks, and individuals who work in favor of the rights of migrants and those subject to international protection in Mexico. Since 2010, it has worked to provide technical support in decision-making spaces, particularly in Congress, to influence the regulatory frameworks for migration and asylum in the country from a human rights, children, gender, and intercultural perspective.
VIRK collaborated with the GTPM in the creation of a website that would allow them to position their work and agenda at the local, national, regional and transnational levels, in front of different decision makers, public opinion makers, civil society and international organizations.
