Documenta

Civil society organization that works in favor of structural reforms for the prison system in Mexico. Concerned about the situation of vulnerability of persons deprived of their liberty in terms of human rights, Documenta seeks to highlight the situation in prisons in the country.

The Disability and Justice Observatory is an initiative that seeks to compile, analyze and make visible a topic that has been little studied and debated, namely, access to justice for people with disabilities.

Based on the legal representation of cases, research and participation in criminal proceedings involving people with disabilities, Documenta A.C. analyzes how the criminal justice system is an area where the rights of people with disabilities continue to be violated and violated, specifically the right to equality before the law, the right of access to justice and the right to personal liberty and security.
